We're sports parents. Our kid plays on two hockey teams and a flag football team, each with its own season of games, weekly practices, skills sessions and tournaments. And the clubs kept changing them.
Finding out where Saturday's game was, or who we were playing, meant logging in to one team's app, then another, then the club's website. Games landed in our phone calendars, tangled up with work meetings and family plans. (A hockey game or two even snuck into a business calendar.) When a game moved, nobody knew which entry was the right one.
Then there's the time nobody writes down. Say practice is at 6:00: the coach wants everyone there at 5:40, dressed and ready. Add the drive there and the gear coming off after, and a quiet evening fills right up. More than once, that hidden time cost us a practice or a game.
And who was driving? That was usually decided at the last minute, keys in hand, while someone small waited by the door in full gear, asking if we were late again. Conflicts hid until the day itself, and fixing them took a lot of texts and a little panic.
Spreadsheets, to-do lists and other apps helped for a while. Then they became clutter of their own, and every change had to be fixed by hand.
So we built TwoGames+. Snap a picture of a team's schedule. TwoGames+ reads it, and you check every row. Tell it how early each team needs you there. Each day then reads Fits, Tight or Conflict, with a time to leave home and the drive between rinks, fields and courts. They're all estimates, worked out from the schedule, your settings and a map. If a day doesn't work, skip something or hand it to another driver, and TwoGames+ checks the day again.
Everyone who drives sees the same schedule, and who's driving to what. On the day, check live traffic before you leave. How many checks each drive gets depends on your plan. And when the club changes the schedule again (it will), snap the new one: TwoGames+ shows you what changed before anything is saved.
Those plan names? They're our own seasons. We started as Rookies: one hockey team and a lot to learn. We became Starters when a second hockey team and flag football arrived, with all their practices, skills sessions and tournaments. These days, with all of it to get around town, we feel like Captains.
TwoGames+ grows the same way. Rookie is free: 1 player and 2 teams, and 3 schedule reads to start. Starter and Captain add more players, teams, schedule reads and live traffic checks. Every plan checks every day for conflicts, and when your season grows, your plan can too. See the plans
And the old spreadsheet? It still has one job: every change to TwoGames+ is tested against the real days in it.
Less juggling, fewer surprises, and more time for the part everyone signed up for: the game.
